Preschool/PRE-K topics

FRIDAYS
4:00 pm - 45 minutes duration / $15 per week

New hands-on science activities each week to complement a read aloud story.

Drop-off or stay with your child, your choice.

Programs are designed for ages 2-5.

Give your child the opportunity to:

Practice social skills and follow directions.
Gain independence and try new experiences.
Work on early childhood academic skills.
Develop an early interest in science.
Complete hands-on crafts and activities.

Challenger Learning Center of Maine is part of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education Network (challenger.org), founded in 1986 in the aftermath of the Challenger 51-L tragedy.

Today, more than 500,000 students, none of whom were even born when the Challenger accident occurred, participate in Challenger Center programs annually. More than 6,000 educators learn the value of simulation for classroom use, adding to the 30,000 classrooms where Challenger Center school-based programs have been made available.
